Disney has officially abandoned Star Wars 1313 confirming the definitive suspension of this ambitious project that was developing in the LucasArts studio.
Following the acquisition of Lucasfilm by Disney, it has closed the historic studio LucasArts, to whom we owe some gems of gaming. Ultimately, it is the publisher Electronic Arts that has recovered the rights to develop games based on the Star Wars license.
Nevertheless, some titles have remained in mystery, including the ambitious Star Wars 1313 which was originally announced in 2012.
Indeed, Disney has simply abandoned the trademark with the USPTO, thus confirming that the firm wishes not to pursue this project. This is bad news for gamers.
