Google Street View offers Taj Mahal in 360 degrees

The famous Taj Mahal now can be visited via Google Street View. Google also adds 29 other iconic monuments of India to its imaging.

Visited by about three million tourists each year, the Taj Mahal incorporates panoramic views that can be see via Street View. A virtual tour in Google Maps or via the Google Cultural Institute in a historical collection dedicated to India is created in collaboration with the Archaeological Service of India.

If the Taj Mahal is the most emblematic figure in India, there are also 29 other national monuments in India that can be seen in Street View. Among them, the Humayun's Tomb, the Red Fort or the Qutub Minar, etc; are the highest visited place in the world.
