BenQ A3C smartphone with 4.5-inch screen and quad-core announced

The BenQ brand has formalized a new smartphone called A3C.

With dimensions of 13.4 x 6.6 x 1 cm and a weight of 135 grams, it comes with an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean model which adopts the 4.5-inch format.

To animate firstly, one can count on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 platform with an ARM Cortex-A5 quad-core 1.2 GHz processor (model MSM8625Q) with 1GB of RAM.

Then in terms of functionality, you can enjoy a qHD display (960 x 540 pixels resolution), two SIM housing, 3G+ support, Wi-Fi 802.11n/GPS connectivity, a photo sensor of 8 megapixels at the back, a photo sensor 2 of megapixel at front, a flash memory of 4 GB expandable to MicroSD/MicroSDHC slot.

Its power is supplied by a lithium-ion battery capacity of 2000 mAh. No details on autonomy are given.

It remains to be seen whether the new BenQ smartphone primarily will target emerging markets or not. It will most likely go through specialized in the import sites.
