Transcend is expanding its catalog of SD cards with two new models for videographers wanting to shoot in 4K (Ultra HD). Prices range from 49 to 119 dollars depending on the model and the selected capacity.
Both models SDXC/SDHX are stamped as UHS-1 Class 3, and their performance in reading and writing vary. The standard model has a read speed of 95 MB/s and write speed of 60MB/s, while the Extreme model displays the performance of 95 MB/s read and 85MB/s write. Specification of UHS-1 Class 3 implies that write performance never falls below 30 MB/s, which allows you to record a video stream comfortably 4K/2K (a definition of 4096 x 2160 pixels).
Standard models of the new card cost $49 for the 64 GB version and $109 for the 128GB version of the side of the Extreme models, it takes 59 dollars for the 32 GB version and $119 for the 64 GB prices.
