Google bans porn and erotic applications on the Play Store

So far, Google has played the card of tolerance compared to Apple regarding the dissemination of adult content or pornography in its application market, but now new restrictions come into force now.

Google had just updated the rules for publication of applications for developers wishing to showcase their productions on Google Play Store, and it is to the removal of erotic and porn content that the Mountain View company is headed to.

So far, only Apple operated a strict control on the subject, refusing for many years for any content deemed offensive or inappropriate and therefore pornography. Google followed its suit, explaining not be fiercely opposed to adult content, but stating that its aim to further open its Android platform to the general public, this type of content now had no place on the market of Official application.

But it is also another issue that calls in this revision of conditions, since Google is also launching in the hunt for developers who abuse advertising.

Google really wants to do some cleaning and is threatening to remove any application without negotiating and using that type of advertising considered intrusive and disruptive to the user.
