Potentially dangerous, the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet is no longer sold and should not be used until further notice. There is a problem with the chargers.
Presented in October 2013 and launched the following December, the Nokia Lumia 2520 Tablet running under Windows RT suffered a manufacturing problem.
The Nokia mobile industry now owned by Microsoft, evokes that a manufacturing defect at the main charger can be especially dangerous for the user, with the cover detached and the internal components open. Any contact with these components can result in electric shock. Same goes for the travel charger as well.
Sales of tablet and travel charger have been stopped in several countries, including Germany, Austria, Denmark, Finland, the UK, Russia and Switzerland. Tens of thousands of Europeans with the product, as well as hundreds of North American consumers who have purchased a travel charger for use in Europe are invited to stop using charges. Almost 30,000 chargers have been recalled for. No incidents have been experienced yet.
