Acer Liquid Z200 smartphone announced, competitor of Moto E

The Acer Liquid Z200 stands as one of the front competitors for Moto E.

While Motorola Mobility tries to position itself in the segment of smartphones sold around 100 euros with Moto E at 119 euros which comes with Android KitKat, competition does not clearly seems to leave the field free.

After Lava, Xolo and Micromax Indian manufacturers, the Taiwanese Acer company is presenting its response with its Liquid Z200 model. Available in August in several colors (white, blue, yellow, black and pink), this smartphone was announced at the attractive price of 79 euros.

Hardware side, the Acer Liquid Z200 features a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor supplied by MediaTek (MT6572M model), 512 MB of ​​RAM, a 4-inch WVGA screen (800 x 480 pixels resolution), two SIM-slots with a compatible 3G+ at 21 Mbit/s, wireless connections of Wi-Fi 802.11n/Bluetooth 4.0, a 2 megapixel digital camera and 4GB flash memory expandable to MicroSD card.

Software side, the smartphone incorporates Acer Quick Mode function that allows you to switch between four modes: Classic Mode (classic interface) Basic Mode (oriented for call and SMS) keyboard mode (speed dialing and direct access to keyboard) and Easy Mode (simplified with quick access to contacts interfaced with a magnifying glass to the clock or the weather).
