Indian manufacturer Micromax launches two new Windows Phone and their prices are very attractive.
Since Microsoft announced the free license for its mobile OS on mobile devices less than 9 inches, Micromax was among the manufacturer expected in the market for Windows Phone smartphones. The Indian manufacturer has just unveiled two models Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121, both operating under Windows 8.1 environment.
The first uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 platform with quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM. It offers a 4-inch IPS WVGA (800 x 480 pixels resolution) screen, dual-SIM slot with a compatible 3G+, a digital camera of 5 megapixels, VGA webcam and a flash memory of 8 GB expandable to MicroSD card.
The second is based on the same platform with a 5-inch 720p IPS display (resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels), photo sensors of 2 and 8 megapixels and a flash memory of 8 GB expandable to a MicroSD slot.
Their availability is scheduled for July with prices from Rs. 6500 and Rs. 9500, equivalent to 80 and 115 euros. We now expect the premium model with Snapdragon 800 aboard that recently came into news.
