
The Chinese manufacturer Oppo unveils a compatible smartphone with 4G mobile networks. This offers a cheap price in return for certain concessions, including Android 4.4 KitKat.
If this smartphone called Neo 5 offers support for 4G/LTE Category 4 (up to 150 Mbit/s downstream and up to 50 Mbit/s on upload), it will indeed be satisfied with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean environment with the graphic overlay ColorOS in the version 1.4, a 4.5-inch screen in a FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels), a digital camera of 5 megapixels with LED flash, front webcam of 2 megapixels and a flash memory of 4GB expandable to a MicroSD card.
With dimensions of 13.2 x 6.6 x 0.9 cm and a weight of 132.5 grams, the Oppo Neo 5 smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 platform with ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and 1GB of RAM (the same as on board Moto G and Moto G 4G, which offer a fairly smooth operation), and a battery capacity of 1900 mAh (no details about autonomy).
Distribution is mentioned in Malaysia for the equivalent of 144 euros. There is no evidence of availabinlity on other markets for now.
