For its mobile advertising platform, Apple adds two new application formats for developers.
This week, Apple announced to developers that they can generate more revenue with new advertising formats to its dedicated iAd mobile platform. The formats presented has being very attractive to brands.
In this case, it is in full-screen interstitial ads and pre-roll video ads. Respectively, advertisements are to display a content page or screen transition between two sections of an application, and videos to consult before loading.
From classic to other advertising platforms but so far a user interaction is needed with iAd for a full screen display, which is not the case with the interstitial. Regarding the pre-roll video ads, their duration will be 15, 30 or 60 seconds.
