Is the smartphone HTC Eye a high-end Windows Phone specializing in selfies model? Maybe!
A smartphone that is expected shortly at HTC is in talk in recent days, with the code name of "Eye".
Under the hood of this future model, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 platform with Krait 400 quad-core processor (Unknown rate now), RAM of 2GB or 3GB (unspecified) and an Adreno 330 GPU. Data suggests also a screen of 5.2 inches diagonally in a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. 4G/LTE would be naturally in the game.
As some have suggested, this high-end smartphone could be a new model in Windows Phone environment after the recent M8 (which is also an Android system) against which it offers a slightly larger diagonal. It could also be the selfies oriented model which is expected at the event held on 8 October by HTC. Why not both, after all?
