Quickly presented in the past, the LG G Watch R today has a release date and price.
LG has introduced its new high-end smartwatches at the IFA show in Berlin, and surprised with a sufficiently close to the Swiss watch for the one confused with a standard watch design.
With its metal casing and screen perfectly round, it certainly looks more massive than the Motorola Moto 360, but it is distinguished by its display screen of 360 degrees.
LG G Watch R has a P-OLED screen measuring 1.3 inches in diameter and a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. The LG G Watch R is powered by a Snapdragon 400 chip clocked at 1.2 GHZ backed by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Operating under Android Wear, it is equipped with various sensors.
Touted as one of the best performing smartwatch in the market, the G Watch R has been confirmed for release fixed on 14 October to South Korea before a worldwide release in the following weeks.
Its price was also announced: 352,000 won, or about $330. You can expect to see it reach at 330 euros in Europe, taking into account all the taxes. The watch should be at slightly more expensive than the proposed 250 euros of Moto 360 unless the currency conversion is more favorable this time.
