
The Taiwanese manufacturer Acer formalizes Liquid Jade S smartphone. This is the first model equipped with a 64-bit platform.
For Liquid Jade S smartphone, Acer has chosen the SoC MediaTek MT6752M. This takes advantage of an ARM Cortex-A53 octa-core processor running at 1.5 GHz and associated with RAM of 2GB, and a Mali-T760 graphics solution clocked at 700 MHz.
With Android 4.4 KitKat environment, Acer Liquid Jade S smartphone also provides a 5-inch IPS screen in a definition of 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, dual SIM housing, support of 4G/LTE Category 4 (up to 150 Mbit/s reception), a 13 megapixel camera sensor for conventional clicks and a 5 megapixel camera sensor for selfies.
With dimensions of 14.3 x 6.9 x 0.8 cm and weighing only 116 grams, the Acer Liquid Jade S smartphone houses a battery of 2300 mAh. Autonomy was not specified.
It will be launched in the local market from December 18 in India and the aftermath, for about 200 euros.
