The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi promised to introduce two new smartphones this Thursday, January 15, 2015. Here it is in detail.
While we waited for the successors of Redmi Note and Mi 4 smartphones, the event held by Xiaomi was the opportunity to discover patterns and Mi Note and Mi Note Pro.
The Mi Note smartphone features a SoC Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor running at 2.5 GHz, 3GB of RAM, Adreno GPU and modem of 4G/LTE Category 4 (up to 150 Mbit/s). It offers a 5.7-inch screen, 1920 x 1080 pixels (resolution of 386 ppi) protected by Gorilla Glass 3 pane, a 24-bit audio, two SIM housing, camera sensors of 4 and 13 megapixels and a battery of 3000 mAh rapid charge (Quick Charge Technology 2.0 with Qualcomm platform). Two versions of 16GB and 64 GB will be proposed at 2299 yuan and 2799 yuan, 370 and 450 euros.
For its part, the smartphone Mi Note Pro moves on to the platform of Snapdragon 810 for a 64-bit octa-core processor (quad-core A57 at 2.0 GHz and A53 four cores at 1.5 GHz), RAM of 4GB, an Adreno 430 GPU, a modem of 4G/LTE Category 9 (up to 450 Mbit/s) and Wi-Fi 802.11ac part (against WiFi N). Besides this it differs by its 5.7-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixels (resolution of 515 ppi). A single 64 GB version will be marketed to 3299 yuan, 535 euros.
Both have display of 7 millimeters in thickness and work with the Android 5.0 Lollipop system makeup of the graphic overlay home. They are supposed to compete with the iPhone 4 and Galaxy Note 6.
