
Acer completes its family of mini desktop with Chrome OS, a Web-oriented environment that we owe to Google.
Two new references called CXI-i34GKM and CXI-i38GKM have indeed been announced by the Taiwanese company with main target for the education sector and small businesses.
Both configurations share an Intel Core i3-4030 dual-core clocked at 1.9 GHz and supported by 4GB (CXI-i34GKM) or 8GB of RAM (CXI-i38GKM) but also an Intel graphics solution capable of managing the definition of 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels).
They also share a 16GB SSD and a slot for MicroSD memory card, as well as connectivity including DisplayPort, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. Of the four USB 3.0 ports there is a split between the front and rear, both are able to charge a device like smartphone or MP3 player when the system is off. The machine also starts in 8 seconds, according to Acer.
Availability is indicated as immediate, at least in the North American market, where the respective prices of 349 dollars and 399 dollars was provided.
