
The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is preparing an Android Lollipop smartphone, whose name and characteristics have leaked. There is talk of a "Ferrari" midrange model.
While Xiaomi is expected to launch an Android smartphone at €60, a new model spotted in the benchmarks is in the talks, with the codename "Ferrari".
According to the leaked specifications, the Xiaomi Ferrari will indeed have a Qualcomm SoC Snapdragon 615 octa-core with its 64-bit processor at 1.6 GHz, 2GB of RAM and modem of 4G/LTE to 150 Mbit/s. It also proposes a 5-inch screen in a definition of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a flash memory of 16GB, a camera sensor of 12 megapixel/1080p on the back and a 5 megapixel camera sensor on the front for selfies. To sum it all, we finally find an Android 5.0.2 Lollipop system with the graphic overlay of MIUI home. In short, nothing to do with the specifications of the model to 60 euros, which suggested a particular SoC Leadcore LC1860C.
Also at Xiaomi, it is expected to recall connected sneakers and the successor of a smartphone phablet Redmi Note. The Chinese group has also unveiled a bamboo version of its flagship Mi Note and announced an online store dedicated to the European market.
