Nik has released a major upgrade of its Viveza plug-in, designed for applications such as Aperture and Photoshop. The add-on lets users selectively control light and color in photos. The upgrade brings the app up to v2.0, and features global image adjustments and shadow recovery, along with interface enhancements that improve everything from slider controls to grouped color control points.
Other changes include a new selective brush tool, Smart Filter support for Photoshop, and multi-image support for both Aperture and Lightroom. Various improvements have been made for color rendering and fine detail structure.
Viveza 2.0 is priced at $100 for all earlier customers, unless the plug-in was bought after September 22, 2009, in which case people are eligible for a free upgrade. For new users the app is priced at $200, and requires Mac OS Xhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif 10.5 or better to run.
