Helium Foot Software today is proud to announce the release of GroceryList 1.0, the fastest way to make a grocery list, for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Grocery List combines new and innovative features with those you expect from any grocery list app to yield an uncommonly fast list-making and shopping experience.
Fast List-Making:
GroceryList starts up fast. Then, the combination of an extensive master list of built-in items and the newly invented Multi-index makes it faster than ever to create a grocery list. To use the Multi-index feature, users will tap "C", then tap "Choc" to find "Chocolate Chips" or "Chocolate Milk". No typing required. Over time, GroceryList learns the habits of the user, keeping track of the items most frequently purchased under "My Common Items". When all else fails, users can search for any item.
Simple Shopping:
Anyone using GroceryList will speed through the grocery store, checking off items as they are procured. Items are grouped by aisle, and the aisles are listed in the order that they would be found in a typical grocery store. Aisles can be reordered to match the layout of any store.
Customizable:
GroceryList ships with the 1,500 items that are most likely to be found in a typical grocery store and can be customized with any number of additional items. Each item is categorized by aisle. The user can change any item’s aisle and add new aisles as desired. Users can also add notes to any item.
Help:
GroceryList includes a series of help videos to teach new users how to best take advantage of its innovative interface.
Accessible:
GroceryList is fully accessible via VoiceOver on supported iPhones and iPod Touches.
Open Source:
Multi-index is now available for free for other developers to use in their applications under the terms of the commerce-friendly BSD licence.
Supported Languages:
* US English
System Requirements:
* iPhone OS 3.1
Pricing and Availability:
GroceryList 1.0 is available now for purchase from the iTunes App Store for $4.99 (USD).
