While developing DrumPro, Harmonist carefully crafted the perfect interface. After rejecting several prototypes based on images of actual drum sets, the final design was inspired by the MPC, a looping beat machine used by producers to create beats. The grid style buttons are perfect for multitouch interaction, and make it incredibly easy to create a cool sounding drum beat with very little work.
