Houdah Software released HoudahGeo 2.4

Houdah Software has announced HoudahGeo 2.4, the premiere photo geocoding solution for the Mac. HoudahGeo is tightly integrated with iPhoto Places and is able to access both Aperture and Lightroom libraries. It offers a myriad of ways to geocode and publish photos.

  • Support for speed readings:
HoudahGeo now uses speed readings recorded by some GPS devices.
  • Support for US units:
You may now chose to view altitude in feet and speed in feet/second or mph.
  • Map geocoding:
The map geocoding window now has a search field which allows for looking up addresses.
  • Google Earth geocoding:
Google Earth geocoding has an improved interface with room for a larger preview image.
