Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas pulled from shelves

A popular video game had all but vanished from London store shelves yesterday, after a U.S. software ratings agency urged retailers to yank the game or reclassify it. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas had its Mature rating lifted Wednesday by the Entertainment Software Rating Board, which instead slapped an Adults Only label on the video — restricting it to buyers age 18 and older.

The change comes after a board investigation found hidden sex scenes in the top-selling game can be activated by downloading a program, or patch, from the Internet.
