Huntkey recently launched a
series of power strips called Universal Power Strip, dedicated to home
or
business users. "Besides notebook adapters and chargers, power strips
are
another kind of consumer product,"
Marketing Manager said, "We
want to provide users a good ‘housekeeper’ to ensure a safe environment
creation and greater money savings."
Compatibility
Huntkey "Universal" power strips have many compatible functions
and a
unique plug bush design, which can meet even more than 240 countries or
regions’ needs. "Compared with traditional power strips, this series
does
better in terms of safety, functionality and material selection," Villa
Li,
Huntkey Product Manager said. There are four key technology applications
of
the Huntkey "Universal" Power Strip. They are recoverability overload
protection, PC fire-retardant materials, intelligent master-slave
control and
USB Charging Function."
Safety
Overload protection is the essential safety protection of the
power strip.
If this protection is absent, fire can be caused by sudden phenomena
such as
surges, lighting or the electrical equipment surpassing the rated power
of the
power strip. Once a fault is fixed, the fuse should be replaced as well.
With
Huntkey’s "Universal" Power Strip, simply press the recovery button and
everything is back to normal again. Moreover, all of the "Universal"
power
strips use PC fire-retardant materials, which as international green
fire-retardant materials can withstand up to 850-degree high
temperatures.
This makes up a protective material to prevent further burning in a
fire.
Functionality
Intelligent master-slave control is a technology that can lead to
peripheral simultaneous cutting off or turning on according to the host
computer’s order. When a host computer is shut down, other peripherals
such as
acoustic devices, fax, and typewriters will automatically turn off at
the same
time. There is no need to worry about electricity bills waste. The power
strip
is thus a good "housekeeper" for users.
The USB Charging Function is another feature of the Huntkey
