Fifth C solution unveils Black Maila push email mobile application

Fifth C, the Bangalore-based global mobile applications firm, has launched BlacMailä, a revolutionary mobile VAS and software on March 5, 2010. It is the first and only innovative mobile service in India designed for the mass-market that allows subscribers to send and receive emails from their existing phones without the need for GPRS, a data plan or an expensive smart phone.

BlacMail has been launched through the mobile retail channel by UniverCell and Sangeetha Mobiles, leading mobile retailers in India. The pricing for BlacMail service starts at just Rs. 49, a fraction of the cost of alternatives such as the BlackBerry service available only for high-end "smart" phones with GPRS data plans.

BlacMail service can be activated on most existing and new phone models that support Java. This includes inexpensive and popular mobiles to high-end smart phones. Further, BlacMail is available for all GSM service providers ensuring wide coverage and continuity of service even with number portability.

BlacMail allows users such as students and working professionals to stay in touch with friends and work related communication through social networking site alerts (e.g. Facebook or Orkut), job alerts (e.g. Naukri, Monster), etc. through instant alert messages and emails on their phone. Irrespective of their location, sales, business and working professionals can respond immediately to email communications from their co-workers, customers, and other associates thus enhancing business and professional success.
