BeBop Games launched Zero Academy 1.0

BeBop Games, LLC today is pleased to announce the release of Zero Academy 1.0, a new quiz game app for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The game is unique in that, unlike other quiz or trivia games, the goal is to get the lowest possible score of zero by getting every question wrong.

According to the developer, it takes a little time for players to get used to the concept of the game. "We live in a society that values achievement and excellence so it’s very hard for us to try to be incorrect or answer questions in a dumb way," said Marvin Shin, the game’s designer. "Zero Academy tells players that it’s not the end of the world if you’re wrong about something."

Despite the counterintuitive goal of getting everything wrong, the developer points out that the game is not as easy as it sounds. "The game is designed to be a challenging brain teaser that requires a lot of thought," said Shin.

The game has different types of questions including Stupid Sense and Nitwit Trivia. Also featured are Monkey Business video questions for which players are encouraged to think like primates. Each question comes with accompanying explanations describing the reasoning behind particular answers.

Device Requirements:

  • Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
  • Requires iPhone OS 2.1 or later
  • 21.9 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Zero Academy 1.0 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Entertainment category.
