Apple has updated its line of MacBook laptops.
The 13-inch model
In its new version, the 13-inch MacBook Pro integrates a Intel Core 2 Duo 2.44 or 2.66 GHz processor, 4 GB DDR3 RAM spread over two slots (expandable to 8 GB), a video controller of nVIDIA GeForce 320M with 256 MB of shared memory for display in 1280 x 800 pixels, a controller wired gigabit Ethernet, a Wi-Fi wireless network controller, hard drive of 250 or 320 GB at 5400 rpm, 8x DVD burner, a slot for SD memory cards, two USB 2.0 ports, one FireWire 800 and a Bluetooth module 2.1.
It also features a Mini DisplayPort output port for connecting an external monitor via VGA, DVI and HDMI via adapters (sold separately), a webcam, microphone and headphone jack. He finally announced autonomy of 10 hours.
The 15-inch model
The 15-inch MacBook Pro offers a new generation of its next processor Intel Core i5 2.4 or 2.53 GHz or Intel Core i7 2.66GHz supported by 4GB of RAM DDR3 (Expandable to 8GB), has a circuit graph of nVIDIA GT 330M Optimus and technology with 256 or 512MB of dedicated memory for display in a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels and offers Internet connectivity via the Gigabit Ethernet wired network or WLAN Wi-Fi n.
Its equipment also add a hard drive of 320 or 500 GB at 5400 rpm, 8x DVD burner, an SD slot, two USB 2.0 ports, FireWire 800, Bluetooth module 2.1, a webcam, a microphone, a headphone jack. As for autonomy, it tops out at 9 hours.
The 17-inch model
The new 17" MacBook Pro can in turn host a processor of Intel Core i5 2.55 or GH3 Intel Core i7 2.66 GHz paired with 4GB of DDR3 RAM (expandable to 8GB), has an nVidia video chip GeForce GT 330M Optimus with technology and 512 MB of dedicated memory for display in 1920 x 1080 pixels and offers a dual Gigabit network connectivity/Wi-Fi n.
On board as a SATA hard drive 500GB at 5400 rpm, 8x DVD burner, three USB 2.0, ExpressCard slot, FireWire 800, Mini DisplayPort port, a webcam, microphone and headphone jack. Its battery provides up to 9 hours autonomy.
