Norman ASA today announced the general availability of expanded Adobe application security content support in Norman Patch and Remediation. Customers will now be able to detect and patch many of the most common Adobe applications on their Windows systems and servers in their daily patch activities using Norman Patch and Remediation.
More and more vulnerability exploits are targeting widely used 3rd party applications, including licenses software from Adobe. Customers want to be able to assess and remediate vulnerabilities in common Adobe applications in the same management console they use to patch their Windows machines today.
“Norman now has the broadest Adobe application security content coverage; more so than any other vulnerability management product on the market. With this release, Norman emphasizes its position as a leader in the vulnerability management space” said Audun Lødemel, VP marketing and business development.
Norman now provides the deepest coverage for Adobe application security content outside of Adobe’s native tools to deliver a single automated patch and remediation solution across Windows systems and servers, including support for the following applications:
- Adobe Acrobat Professional (versions 8 and 9)
- Adobe Acrobat Standard (versions 8 and 9)
- Adobe Photoshop (CS3 and CS4)
- Adobe InDesign (CS3 and CS4)
- Adobe AIR (1.5)
- Adobe Reader (versions 8 and 9)
- Adobe Flash Player (versions 9 and 10)
- Adobe Shockwave (11.5)
