It has taken until the third generation of the Sims franchise that decided to invest in home consoles and portables. The invasion is coming?
Electronic Arts had predicted, Sims 3 will indeed arrive on their home console, including Xbox 360 and PS3 in the fall. The oh-so-lucrative license from the publisher will no longer the sole happiness of PC gamers, but also affect the console from Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. However, the gameplay should show different depending on your platform of choice.
In The Sims 3 on Xbox and PS3, players will receive a gameplay similar to that offered on PC. Connected to Live or PSN, the contents of the title will be exchanged at leisure, allowing you to be constantly kept abreast of the latest creations of players and availability without leaving your game. The change is also part because orders have to adjust the levers and some additions, such as the use of karma, will expand the content of the title.
Regarding the Wii, players will receive a new content with a new beach town, new traits and other crafts created specifically for the Wii. Up to four players can compete in the new game "moments of life" to win awards. The players will devote themselves to many quests where they will explore their city and discover the secrets that lie within.
Finally, the Nintendo DS, players will use the stylus to create any details of Sims’ homes, but also their own character.
The Sims 3, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS will arrive in fall 2010.
