Hewlett-Packard, world’s leading manufacturer of computers, has announced the commercialization of its new Elite model 7100.
In a compact 18.5 x 41.6 x 38.5 centimeters, this computer desk for small and medium houses an Intel Pentium, Intel Core, i3, i5 or Intel Core Intel Core i7 supported by up to 16 GB RAM DDR3-1333 (four slots available).
Powered by a 300 watt power, it leaves the choice between an integrated graphics chipset for Intel origin or an ATI or nVIDIA PCI-Express 16x for display, has an integrated audio controller Realtek HD compatible for sound reproduction and features a Realtek network controller compliant Gigabit Ethernet for wired network.
On board is also a storage space of 160 GB and 1 TB for data, a DVD burner with LightScribe (technology, printed in the upper face of the disc) for backups, a reader 22-in-1 memory cards, nine USB 2.0 (not counting the five through internal connectors), a FireWire port and audio jacks.
On the operating system finally, there is a choice between FreeDOS, Windows XP or Windows 7.
