Transcend’s DDR3 Memory Module Got CMTL Certification

Transcend Information, Inc., a global leader in memory and storage products, today proudly announced that its 2GB DDR3-1333 ECC Registered DIMM (RDIMM) and 1GB DDR2-667 Unbuffered DIMM (UDIMM) have passed the most stringent memory qualifications at CMTL, the memory industry`s leading independent compatibility test lab.

The CMTL Memory Module Certification Program allows computer memory manufacturers to submit their modules for advanced compatibility testing on motherboards from the industry`s leading manufacturers. Every CMTL certified memory module is put through extensive advanced compatibility testing on the exact motherboard model to eliminate most incompatibility risks and ensure full functionality and proper operation.

Transcend`s 2GB DDR3 ECC RDIMM is rated at 1333MHz with timings of 9-9-9-24 and an operating voltage of a mere 1.5V. Developed to support Intel Xeon based server platforms, Transcend`s DDR3-1333 Registered DIMM is tested to be fully compatible with the Intel S5520UR and S5520URR server boards.

Transcend`s 1GB DDR2 UDIMM runs at 667MHz with 5-5-5-15 timings. Having passed CMTL`s rigorous inspection and advanced testing criteria, the DDR2-667 Unbuffered DIMM is 100% certified to work with the Intel D945GTP, D945GNT, D945PSN and D945PVS boards.

Optimized for maximum quality and compatibility, both memory modules fully comply with JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council) standards, delivering the best reliability, stability, and consistency in the industry.
