The Japanese manufacturer, Toshiba, has announced its Satellite T230 laptop, which focuses on design finesse and a very good autonomy.
Dimensions 32.3 x 22.3 x 3.42 inches and weighs 1.76 kg, the Toshiba Satellite T230 runs on environment Windows 7 Home Premium.
Powered by an Intel Pentium running at U5400 1.20 GHz and coupled with upto 8 GB of RAM DDR3, it offers a display in 1366 x 768 pixels on a diagonal 13.3 inches, a stereo delivered through two speakers, keyboard chiclet type (flat, separated keys as on the Mac), a multitouch trackpad, a wireless network connection Wi-Fi connectivity and a Bluetooth 2.1.
There are also a storage space of up to 500GB, a memory card slot, HDMI port, a VGA port, two USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA II/USB 2.0, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, an integrated webcam, a microphone and a slot for theft. As for autonomy, it tops out at 8 hours and 30 minutes.
The Toshiba Satellite T230 will be available from third quarter 2010 and sold for $790.
