Thermaltake announces BlackX 5G docking station for hard disk

Thermaltake has announced a new docking station for hard disk.

For those unfamiliar with this type of device, remember that a docking station for hard disk can use hard drives like the good old disks by inserting and removing heat, which avoids passing by external hardware or constantly having to dismantle the tower.

It shows the dimensions of 7.3 x 13.6 x 8.8 inches and weighs 312 grams. Fed into the power outlet, it can operate a SATA I/SATA II/SATA III format 2.5 inches via a wired connection USB 3.0, for a theoretical maximum throughput of 5 Gbit/s.

Known for BlackX 5G or under the reference ST0019, this docking station hard drive was announced at $49.99 on the U.S. market.
