Satyam’s IT solution selected by WHO

Satyam Computer Services Ltd today said its IT solution, Global Management System (GSM) has been selected by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The company has been chosen to implement a global roll-out, of an Oracle-based ERP system that includes full functionality and end-to-end processes, throughout WHO including its regional offices and in 140 country offices, it informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Satyam would spearhead the operational overhaul of WHO, after an elaborate REP and evaluation process, it said. “As a leader in the Enterprise Business Solutions space, Satyam is pleased to provide its knowledge and expertise to such a prestigious organization,” said the Head of Satyam’s Europe Operations, Keshab Panda said.

The company’s share price is 544.40 up 4.56 per cent.
