IG Index, the UK’s leading financial spread betting firm, is now offering its new iPhone dealing app for download. Available free of charge from the AppStore, the application will offer clients all the functionality of the traditional dealing platform, as well as such industry firsts for the iPhone as a real-time charting package and breaking news headlines from Thomson Reuters.

IG Index has been offering an optimized browser for the iPhone since early 2009 and this proved to be highly popular with existing clients. Making a widely available, downloadable application available from the AppStore was the obvious next innovation.
