Sega of America and Sega Japan jointly announce a new baseball simulation for PC and Mac free to play.
As its name suggests, MLB Manager Online puts us in the shoes of a virtual general manager in the league of U.S. professional baseball. The game works on browser-only flash and therefore cannot be downloaded. The registration for the closed beta has already started and the trial period will start in earliest of Jan. 7, 2011.
Sega seems to rely a lot on this project just as for football manager in Europe. This title is in fact only designed for markets in Japan, South Korea, and North America. Its final launch is set in March 2011, ie at the beginning of the new MLB season.
