Transcend brand specializing in data storage solutions, has introduced a new SSD device, the SSD18C3.
Format compact 1.8 " and accusing just 70 grams on the scale, the external storage device DSS operates a USB 3.0 interface for data rates relatively comfortable. In version 64 GB , it promises to 110MB / s in write phase and up to 260 MB / s in reading phase, while in its declination 128 GB , it shows peaks at 200 MB / s writing and 260 MB / s read.
Due to the absence of mechanical parts and a silicone coating , it also announced a shock resistance of 1500G for 0.5 millisecond and vibration resistance of 3G with a frequency between 5 and 800 Hz .
Its runing time before failure, it would be at least 1 million hours , according to the manufacturer.
