THE FRENCH gaming Goliath, Ubisoft, will be making another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game.
It’s signed an exclusive worldwide license agreement with 4Kids Entertainment and Mirage Group for the rights to produce a game based on the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
The movie will be animated with computers graphics and will hopefully not involve Vanilla Ice in any manner. And vanilla is brown anyhow, so I don’t know what his name was really supposed to mean.
The game will be available on multiple consoles (probably not PC) and will hit shelves early in 2007, contemporaneous with the release of the movie. There’s no word on whether those console will be next-gen or not.
Supposedly, the movie will both be rated PG and derive its tone from the original comic-book series, but considering the level of violence in the original, I’m not sure how that’s possible. Nothing has been said regarding the game’s ESRB rating, but I’ll venture “E” to match that “PG” demographic.
