CHIP FIRM AMD is still deciding whether to go ahead with plan to build a state of the art fab in New York State.
According to local newspaper the Times Union, AMD officials are engaged in a 12 week design review of the project and then make a recommendation to the board.

Earlier this week AMD said it would not move into a new facility in Barton Springs, Texas, until next year.
