Premier provider of mobile “lifestyle” solutions, Drync, LLC today announced the release of a Free version of Drync-Wine, simplifying the way people research, remember, share, and purchase wine using their mobile device. Built initially for the iPhone, Drync-Wine is the only mobile wine application that scours multiple databases of nearly a million wine listings in real time to identify the exact wine you are drinking.
Perfect for the wine novice and connoisseur alike, Drync-Wine delivers expert reviews, ratings, descriptions, and pricing. Users may snap a photo of the label, save the wine to their own virtual wine cellar, add their own tasting notes, and even purchase the wine all from their mobile phone. New features include twitter integration, cellar sorting and filtering, and custom wine input, further differentiating itself in the marketplace.
Now with the new Free version, it is even easier to have over 800,000 wines in your pocket at all times. In addition to the free version, Drync Wine is releasing Drync Wine Professional version for those oenophiles who require an unlimited wine cellar. Targeting the $330B wine market and the over 70M tech savvy “Millenials” the fastest growing segment of the wine industry, Drync Wine is ideally positioned to capitalize on the growing mobile phone application market. Drync continues to innovate with its superior user interface and federated search technology, and soon, new community features such as recommendations, user generated reviews and geotagging will further differentiate Drync in the marketplace.
“We are very pleased with our initial success thus far. User feedback has been so positive, we wanted to make Drync Wine available to everyone with our new Free version.” Said Jodi Goldstein, co-founder and VP of Marketing of Drync, LLC. “Further growth will enable us to continue to innovate to bring our users the most comprehensive wine app in the marketplace.”
The new version will be showcased at Wine Riot! in Boston, Massachusetts, April 17-18. Attendees will have the opportunity to access the wines they are tasting, in real-time from their mobile phone. They may add their own tasting notes, read professional ratings and reviews, and even purchase the wines all while they are roaming the show floor.
Drync Wine will soon release a Blackberry version as well as other mobile platforms over the next few months. In addition to feature and platform expansion, other growth areas include other specialty product categories such as beer, scotch, tequila, and cheese.
