AMD has just put online 9.9 Version of its Catalyst drivers intended
for ATI Radeon graphics cards. This Release of September supports the
latest Microsoft operating systems, including x86 and x64 editions of
Windows 7. In terms of news, there a. .. nothing! new Let’s mention
the appearance of the teaser on the welcome screen of the Control
Center, teaser meant to represent the next ATI card. For this version,
the engineers at AMD have indeed concentrated on solving various
problems.
Moreover, this version adds 9.9 CrossFireX profile for the Resident
Evil 5 game,also now anti-aliasing works properly in Ghostbusters. A
problem with graphical corruption in the Sims 3 is also been fixed
Resolved Issues for All Windows Operating Systems
This section provides information on resolved issues in this release of
the ATI CatalystSoftware Suite for Windows. These include:
- Catalyst Control Center – Basic now responds properly after exiting Quick Adjust Video Settings
- Edge enhancement and de-noise sliders in Catalyst Control Center no longer lags or appears out of sync with mouse movement
- Launching Hotkeys Manager in Catalyst Control Center no longer causes an unhandled exception error
- The "Desktop Rotation" page in Catalyst Control Center no longer shows additional information for the second display when the secondary adapter is connected
- HDMI is now detected properly as DTV (HDMI) instead of DTV (DVI) when the HDMI display is hotplugged for the first time
- Catalyst Control Center no longer displays error message when specific HDMI displays are hot unplugged and hotplugged back
