Samsung to lose its only ODM notebook client, Dell

Samsung Electronics will lose its only contract notebook client, Dell, next year, industry sources revealed yesterday.

Samsung's Taiwan office declined to comment on the report, while Samsung's Digital Media Business, which is in charge of the company's notebook business, did not respond at the time of publication.

Gizmondo Delayed Until October

Tiger Telematics has delayed the highly anticipated Gizmondo device until October following consultation with U.S. retailers. The company previewed the Gizmondo at this year's E3 conference in Los Angeles. Tiger blamed the change in plans on delays in a GPS device and a "significant game title" that was to coincide with the launch.
