This printer can deliver good output for professional and personal work. The printer works on 4 set of cartridges in which 3 are color cartridges and one is black cartridge. With minimum 300 pages print per cartridge (color only) the printer is a mid range device. For bulk printing it is not at all budget friendly. For home and office use, this printer is optimum to give everything you want. The printer features some additional options like printing over internet. These same features come in many other printers also, but in HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525, it is much easier. It is, however, a simple printer with all required feature and decent design.

With integrated wifi it is easy to print on the wireless network and there is no need to share it through pc. The internal OS has all the support which is needed for wifi settings and password protection. Some printing features like double side printing makes your job easier. The print time is around 4 to 6 seconds. So that is well enough. This is only for black and white for color printing depending on the type of photo. And the color print takes a bit time to dry out completely. So it is better if you are printing photos just keep them aside. The printer does not come with any complicated options. The led screen on the front side offer you information on the ink level, copy a photo or document, etc. And HP has also added a Camera Card slot on the printer. Design and Features:

The above specification can give you some highlights on the printer features. You can just figure out what all things it offers. With common specification there are additional stuff added in the printer that makes it more unique. The design is impressive. The scanner is just placed on the top side with cartridge panel below. There are two compartments. The printer cartridges are just placed below the scanner. While the front led act as the complete control panel of the printer. There are no extra lights or indicator on the body. The led offer you various information and settings, like for example; you can instantly checkout the ink level, while the setting column delivers more stuff. Along with this HP also give you some set of application that you can use with the printer. Like form printing, calendar printer, etc. Those are secondary features. The paper tray below has an extender to add larger size paper. The printer has an instant copier. You can just keep the photo in the scanner and print out that below. To print photo it is necessary that you use a good photo printer. Or else it will be a waste of ink.

HP has not provided any additional USB drive slot on the printer. Also there is no lan port. It works with simple usb 2.0 connectivity that lies on the backside and a power support. The power button is placed on the led. There are easy navigation keys with help option that tells you more on each section. So if you are not able to find any information on any section just tap on the part and click on the question mark icon.

Performance:

As I had said before that the color cartridges deliver 300 pages and black delivers 450 printers. You can also use the printer with black cartridges. The cartridge output is a bit limited to 300 pages and the same is applicable for black also. I was expecting more from them. Atleast the black cartridges must be capable of giving more than 500 pages based on heavy usage. If you use your printer frequently then it would be possible that atleast for 2 time you will have to buy the cartridges. The price of colour cartridge is around Rs.300 and the black one comes for Rs.450. So that is not at all costly but as compared to some regular deskjet printer, the budget rises. The benefit of using HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 All in One Printer is that it gives you more clear print. It works better and it has no issues related to wifi print. Even if you are far from the printer you just need to open an account in HP ePrint center and add the printer. You can then send your favourite photos directly over the internet.

We had tested some photos printing on this printer and it works really well. The photo quality is best depending on the paper quality. The much better paper you use the better output will appear. There are some set of software that comes in the printer cd. Like the printer manage and photo creation software. The printer manager tool allows you to manage a set of different settings and run printer maintenance. It is simple and has all the option listed on the front side only. Also you can directly shop cartridges through the software and get genuine product. The scanner is good enough to give you maximum detailed images. For more dpi, it takes higher time to scan. We had also tested the printer using HP Printer Control software and Eprint Software. You just need to turn the printer wifi, and in your Android smartphone install HP Printer Control. You can simply click a photo and print directly through that. The application is available for many platforms.

Conclusion:

HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 All in One Printer comes for Rs.9000. You can find it a bit overcharged, but the features that are added justify the price. If you are not looking for wifi or mobile printing option then this printer is not your choice. HP has a vast series of printer’s that has features based on budget. So you can simply checkout on the official website for more similar information. We found HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 All in One Printer a good choice for photo printing job. It has a nice speed and nice output. You can print multiple photos instantly due to ready to use tools like Photo Creation software and you can also create your own greeting cards.
