Zebronics ZEB-BT3430RUCF 2.1 Speaker Review

Zebronics ZEB-BT3430RUCF 2.1 Speaker Review

Zebronics ZEB-BT3430RUCF is a small packaged speaker with big features. It is a portable 2.1 multi-purpose desktop speaker. It costs around Rs. 2000 approximately. It produces a decent surround sound output and also offers various connectivity options. You can play songs through usb, memory card and regular 3.5mm audio jack. It also has Bluetooth support. It has an impressive design with led display and a fully functional remote. Sound quality is nice for movies and games. The speaker does not really bring a very high quality bass output, but has enough to give you a decent music experience. At low volume sound is awesome and soothing to ears. While at high, there is too much distortion which spoils sound effects. Most of the things here depends on the music file and sound equalizer settings.

On the body itself you will get a treble and bass control knob. You can adjust that as per your need. It has simple control panel to switch from one mode to another. Like Bluetooth, Aux and FM. FM Channels can’t be scanned without remote. We will checkout the speaker in more details, before let’s have a look on its primary features.

Design:

Zebronics ZEB-BT3430RUCF comes in black color with quite impressive design. It does not look like a regular speaker. The sub woofer is bit modified and has a glossy screen at front with volume knob and few control buttons. The woofer output is also at the front. Around the volume knob at the right there are 4 control buttons. The first one is for changing the speaker mode. Like for playing audio through pc you have to put the speaker in AUX (Auxiliary) mode. For Bluetooth BE and to play radio, set it on FM mode. Next two keys are for changing songs and the last one is for play/pause.

All connectivity ports and other controls are on the right side. This is for easy access. Two satellite speakers come separately. They are not attached with each other. You have to connect them to the sub woofer below INPUT. And there is a separate cable that will connect the speaker system to pc. There are two more knobs for manual Treble and Bass control. And a power button is at the bottom.

Once connected, try to keep the satellite speaker on the top side above sub-woofer so that you can get a good surround sound audio output. Equalizer settings will help you a lot to get a proper sound quality through this speaker.

Audio Performance:

Zebronics ZEB-BT3430RUCF falls in the category of regular 2.1 channel speaker. It just brings few additional features like USB port, Memory card port, Bluetooth and remote control so that you can do more with it. Sound quality is nice when you are not playing sound at full volume. Overall build quality is nice here. The design is also good. It looks like a good quality product. But when it comes to sound effect on maximum volume, it then fell a bit short. The sound is messed up. But at low and mid volume it works just perfect. In our video review on YouTube/TecharenaIndia channel you can check out the audio performance. Zebronics ZEB-BT3430RUCF is quite a useful speaker compared to regular desktop and 2.1 speaker set. Bluetooth connection helps you to connect any device to the speaker. There are ample of extra benefits of such speaker over a regular one. Overall audio output is not bad if you are looking for decent desktop speakers for home usage.

Conclusion:

Zebronics ZEB-BT3430RUCF costs around Rs. 2000 approximately. But price can differ depending on the seller. It can be a bit cheaper I think. The speaker is great in looks. It has multiple connectivity options like you can directly use a pen drive or a memory card on that. But it reads only mp3 and wma audio files. It has a FM with remote. There is no need to sit near the speaker and manage it. The remote control lets you to do everything. Sound quality is nice, but not really great what I was expecting from a 2.1 channel speaker. There are plenty of models in the same range which are cheaper and provide a much higher bass quality. But they don’t give you any extra connectivity options other than 3.5mm audio jack.

Pros:

  • Good Design
  • USB/Memory Card/Bluetooth
  • FM
  • Simple setup

Cons:

  • Average Sound on maximum volume
