There have been a lot of machines with 12.1 inch screen and clean design
in the range of Wind; however the U250 does not seem to overflow with
originality. However, its features have little to do with a traditional
netbook. With a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 4 GB of RAM, a
250GB hard drive and an AMD Athlon especially Neo K325 II coupled to an
ATI Radeon HD 4225 with 512 MB dedicated memory, this configuration is
the least original. But is it good in terms of performance and autonomy?

Apart from its screen definition much more comfortable than a netbook,
the Wind12 U250 is, in appearance, not very different from other
netbooks range in Wind. The glossy plastic shell decorated with a
geometric pattern, the edges of screen plastics well marked, the slice
thickness on the device does not make a model of elegance, even if its
not bad looking.

Small errors of taste, although this is no crippling, the small touchpad
is not multipoint and too small. The keyboard keys to almost flat, is
correct but does not have the comfort of chiclet versions. He is,
however, the entire width of the chassis.

Greatly improved performance

Let us break the suspense: yes, this laptop has performance that far
exceeds what can make a netbook. According to the field on which we
apply the comparison, the performance is superior to one quarter or even
a third compared to those a computer powered by an Intel Atom N450. Not
to mention 4 GB of RAM that allows Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit Family to
feel like a fish in water. Exit Windows 7 Starter and therefore its
limitations. The ATI Radeon HD 4225 without blinking decodes HD video
content. This netbook comes with an HDMI output in addition to the
traditional VGA, interest on the image to deport a larger screen is
clear.

A cut to the autonomy bill!

There are two battery locations supplied with this model; a 3 cell which
is perfectly integrated into the chassis and a second 6-cell which is
slightly behind the PC. With high capacity battery, the weight gain
increased almost 1.5 kg which begins to weigh heavy for an
ultra-portable.

The real problem with this likeable Wind12 U250 performance is not its
weight, but in his self-sufficient. The 5:30 hrs of autonomy is obtained
with the help of two batteries (4 h 10 min with 6 cells and 1 h 20 min
with 3 cells), which is very very fair for a machine with an emphasis on
mobility.

Features

12.1" 16:9 LED Backlit Widescreen Display

The MSI Wind12 U250 features 12.1” 16:9 ratio display for better viewing
experience. Furthermore, LED power-saving backlight technology provides
better color fullness and brightness, elevating the total quality of
imagery. The lower usage of power can also offer a longer operating
time.

Streamlined design that whispers fluidity and elegance

The sleek and exquisite design gives Wind12 U250 an elegant presence.
Each curve is accentuated with a smooth contour making its polished
exterior a delicate feast for the eyes. The U250 offers you a choice of
two colors: cobra
