SAMSUNG
designed the T240 with gracefully sculpted edges and a bezel with a
soft hint of rich red. It also delivers impressive features like a
20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for sharper images and 5 ms response
time which eliminates blurring. The SAMSUNG T240 is more than just a
monitor, it’s high style combined with impressive technology. The
feature set is much richer than that of the Samsung 930BF. There are
enough options in the menu screen to find I was very charmed by the
option to adjust the brightness of the power led in 6 steps too.but get
confuse between Samsung T240 and Samsung T240 HD both are different.

Packaging
Samsung has cared for the smallest detail, and one finds for example
the edges of the glass more beautiful effect and a very nice lighting
screen. The design of the whole is finally very clean with no apparent
button, the on switch is sensitive, and those settings are on the side
though not easily accessible.
The package is not lacking with the VGA cable, DVI, and USB (for
the hub). There was also of course a power cable, installation
instructions to use. Samsung has finally provide a cloth to clean the
slab, but also the edges of the black lcd screen, very sensitive to
dust and fingerprints.
- Power Cable
- DVI cable
- VGA cable
- USB cable for the usb hub
- Cloth for your monitor to polish
- CD With drivers and some programs (Natural Color, MagicTune and Multi Screen)
The design of the Samsung SyncMaster T240 is much idle like other
Samsung monitors. It has a plastic black boady about 1.5-inches thick
and a black stand at the bottom supports it well.
Design:
The
appearance of the monitor is one of its greatest assets. The black
plastic around the screen and where the leg is made of shiny and looks
certainly not cheap. The red edge below the screen is very dark and
gives it a luxury look. This luxurious look is completed by the thin
transparent edge around the entire screen. The control buttons are on
the side of the screen, beautiful sight, but may be less easily
accessible. The only button on the front of the monitor is a touch
sensitive power button, it is very nice eliminated, the only indication
that a button is the power button icon. Again, Samsung balancing
‘appearance vs. functionality The user does not always clear whether
the button is pressed hard enough or not. Another disadvantage is the
mismatch between a swivel screen and a touch-sensitive button away from
the rotation. Fortunately the screen is very efficient in standby mode
so that the power button does not use.

Display and connectivity :
The
screen is pretty solid, but less than the 930BF. The leg of the T240 is
smaller and much larger screen so the screen remains longer wiggle when
I do a tap. This is where the Samsung T240 suffers. Without a backbone,
without height adjustment, it was only right to the rocking, Yet I have
never seen a screen with a finish like this, everything fits perfect. Samsung SyncMaster T240 connectivity and setting is good. Level connections on a VGA output, DVI-D and HDMI. The T240 also features a two-port USB hub.

20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio :
The contrast between light and dark colors on the screen is what makes
images stand out. The bigger the difference between light and dark
images, the more vibrant images will appear. With an amazing dynamic
contrast ratio of 20,000:1 you’ll enjoy sharper image quality that’s
sure to catch your eye.
multi screen :
Reduce
all of your desktop clutter with SAMSUNG’s multi screen feature. Assign
applications and open windows in different areas of the screen and
improve your efficiency.
5 ms fast response time :
Response time refers to how long it takes pixels to turn from
completely white to black and back again. The lower the milliseconds
(ms), the faster the response time is. A fast 5 ms response time
virtually eliminates any blurring, making this monitor perfect for
enjoying video games and all of your digital entertainment.
Pros :
- design
- connections (HDMI, optical out, USB hub, etc.)
- efficient in standby
- pixel mapping
Cons :
- screen is to use power button
- Controls on the side
- Switching takes a long time
Overall performance :
However, I noted that maximum brightness, the screen has a dark gray
too, so I have the brightness down to about 70% for blacks find almost
black, and it is not an evil Go summarize the characteristics of the
Samsung SyncMaster T240.
Conclusion :
Overall
very good with very accurate color and brightness representations.
Playing older games is sometimes problematic, as I noticed during some
game. Not all games support widescreen resolutions obsolete, although
it is usually with some tinkering on the problem. When you look at the
total picture, you will satisfied with this monitor,so it meets my
requirements and was certainly worth the money. The display also comes
with a 3 year warranty.
