Metroid Prime Trilogy

The Metroid Prime Trilogy having all three Metroid Prime games on a
single disc. Each Metroid Prime game gives a full-adventure crammed
with secrets and hidden goodies. If you haven’t played any of the
Metroid Prime or even just the individual games, it can be quite

Here’s what you’ll find in Metroid Prime Trilogy Game :

  • Metroid Prime : First 3D game in Metroid Prime series, and because of large exploration component of the game its is introduced by Nintendo as a first-person adventure instead of a first person shooter.

  • Metroid Prime 2 Echoes
: The events of Echoes are set an unspecified amount of time after Metroid Prime. The story follows bounty hunter Samus Aran after she is sent to rescue Galactic Federation Marines from a ship near Aether, a planet inhabited by a race known as the Luminoth.
  • Metroid Prime 3 Corruption : After Echoes in Metroid Prime corruption story continues to bounty hunter Samus Aran as she assists the Galactic Federation in their fight against the Space Pirates. While defending against a space pirate assault, Samus the bounty hunters and her companion were attacked by her doppelganger, Dark Samus, which incapacitates a material called Phazon mutagenic.

Each game in this trilogy keeps good track of its storyline and all settings, but good news for  the players of Metroid Prime 1 and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is, they can use their Wii Remote to play with precision as heroine Samus Aran. Based on the breakthrough control system that started in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, these new Wii controls bring an entirely new level of freedom to this games.

The idea of finding the three releases of the Metroid Prime series on
one disc for the price of a Wii game has to earn the interest of many
players, but the attractiveness of this title is foremost in the
shuffle gameplay made on episodes 1 and 2. Both games, originally
released on GameCube, have in effect for the first time a handling
identical to that of Metroid Prime 3. The combo Wiimote/Nunchuk
strengthens immersion in a way undeniable, the pointer can now target
the screen accurately without necessarily going through the lock system.

To recall, the three parts of the trilogy have made a breakthrough turn
in the hearts of players each making their way to new discoveries or
playful narrative more or less salient. We are not going to repeat here
the review of the three Metroid Prime but simply return to the main
points to remember, even those who have succeeded in making each of
these securities necessary. At its output, the first component already
revolutionized the Metroid series by transposing into a 3D universe
everything that characterized so far. The challenge was yet daring to
developers who tried to propose a completely new vision of the Metroid
legacy, unchanged since the NES, the Game Boy and Super Nintendo.
Betting able to Retro Studio, which was thus a way to modernize the
myth without distorting it.

From there, the developers had only widen the narrative aspect of
Metroid Prime 2 to renew a second time with success without altering
the formula already established in terms of gameplay. It now operates
in two parallel realities, one being somewhat dark replica of the
first, each action in a universe having a direct impact on another.
More oppressive but also more difficult, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is
also retaining a sense of panic that makes us feel every time you find
yourself chased by Dark Samus, the alter ego of negative ‘heroine!
Finally, it was with Metroid Prime 3 that set his first steps on the
Wii in a chapter that emphasizes the optimization of real gameplay via
the Wiimote. The three apps each have a lifetime that exceeds blithely
twenty hours. I must say that Metroid Prime is more than just a FPS,
size adventure is just there to make it a unique experience, without
equal in the field of gaming.

Veteran mode is now available in this trilogy right form the start of
all 3 games. And the Hyper mode which was not available for first two
Metroid Prime games, and now it gets unlocked after completing Veteran.
The multiplayer from Metroid Prime 2 Echoes can be started from main
menu, and it plays with really good visuals. The new controls makes
experience more interesting, the poor level design and plethora of
health power-ups keep the mode from achieving greatness. The fans of
the Metroid Prime series will be happy with the news control upgrade.

Everything seems to indicate that it takes is a vital issue for any
player who respects himself, but who really directed this trilogy? Do
not forget that the fans have certainly kept warm editions of their
first two GameCube, games, remember, work perfectly on the Wii if they
have the appropriate memory card. All those blocked pathways which you
had made a mental note to return too have long since faded from memory.
The emergence of new credits to unlock you as advance player in the
game to discover unpublished bonus can be one of those arguments, as
well as being able to play with the display by 16/9, in Normal
difficulty. Otherwise, we simply note that the multiplayer modes of the
second component are directly accessible from the main menu. Make sure
the Wii resolution setting is set at 480P if you own a widescreen TV.

Achievements are really good but if you don’t have the perfect
understanding to unlock them, the whole thing becomes pointless. But
after all this, the Metroid Prime trilogy is quite possibly the best
offer game since The Orange Box, and is without doubt the best package
offer you can find on the Wii. Not only are the three games a great
addition to any library, but the whole concept is completed by the
magnificent art. Wii gamers who want a solid FPS experience definitely
fans of the franchise should get their hands on this package .
