  • Support for Subscription Check API: support for the Subscription Check API has been added so you can take advantage of it through the SDK APIs. A set of sync APIs have also been added to automatically synchronize subscriber status with the SDK database.
  • Statistics gathering: allows you to better track data regarding push operations (such as push count and remaining quota) and SDK operations (such as memory, thread pools, work queues).
  • Improved query capabilities: enables simple retrieval of data pertaining to your subscribers and pushes via user-defined criterion.
  • Installer improvements: command-line installation support has been added to the Linux version.

BlackBerry WebWorks ...

The BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for Tablet OS allows web and mobile web developers to use the SDK in combination with their development tooling of choice to develop, test and package up their web applications as BlackBerry WebWorks applications for tablets. BlackBerry WebWorks applications are distributed through the BlackBerry App World storefront and run on the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet with access to the hardware.

BlackBerry PlayBook tablet applications are now being accepted into BlackBerry App World.

CodeSnip is an open source program that can be used to manage, display and manipulate a source code repository. The repository can display locally stored snippets downloaded from the online Code Snippets database as well as user-defined code snippets. User defined snippets can be edited, backed up and shared with other users.  Snippets can be displayed by category, alphabetically or by type.

The database can be searched for snippets that contain specified text, for cross referenced snippets or for snippets that compile under specified versions of Delphi. In addition the snippets to be displayed can be selected manually.

CodeSnip can generate and export source code in various ways:

  • Compilable Object Pascal units containing suitable selected snippets from the database can be generated and written to file.
  • Individual routines or whole categories can be written to Object Pascal include files or copied to the clipboard for including in Delphi and FreePascal projects.
