We have just learned that Square Enix is preparing a remastered high definition Mystic Quest Legend, a RPG game originally released in 1992 on Super NES that will happen soon on PC and Android mobile. First trailer is aired.
Known in the United States under the name Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest and Mystic Quest Legend in Europe, this RPG signed by Squaresoft was released in 1992 and 1993 on Super NES. The game is known to have moved many fans of Japanese RPGs, because of its simplicity and its graphics worthy of the NES.
Still, Square Enix has not hesitated to launch the project of remastering of the game on PC and on Android mobile. However, the project of Mystic Quest HD Remaster was entrusted to the British studio Design Dark Games. The latter has published a first gameplay video of the HD reissue.
Despite the framerate chilling in the trailer, the development studio supported the fact that the game will run at 60 frames per second in its final version.
Via Twitter, Dark Design Games announced that the game will be released on March 31, 2015 at the rate of $7.
