Presented at CES 2014 in Las Vegas, the Asus ZenFone 5 is a smartphone with a TFT IPS 5-inch screen, displaying an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and running the operating system Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Update to Android 4.4 KitKat, accompanied by the overlay of Asus ZenUI.
Used with non-capacitive gloves or a stylus, this smartphone is powered by the Intel Atom Z2580 processor clocked at 2GHz. In addition, it includes a rear 8MP camera and a 2MP front camera.
As for connectors, the device is equipped with a headphone jack, a microUSB port and offers a dual SIM card slot. For connectivity, it comes with WiFi-enabled 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi Direct.
The Asus ZenFone 5 loads a 2050mAh battery and offers 1GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 4GB, expandable via microSD card. Weighing 140g, this smartphone measures 148.2 x 72.8 x 10.3-5.5mm and is available in several colors including black, white, red, blue and gold.
