Micromax has released another dual core smartphone called Bolt A47 that comes at a price tag of Rs. 4699. There is a 1.3GHz dual core processor along with a Mali 400 GPU in Bolt A47 and it is based on the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 environment.
The CPU is powered by 1.3GHz MT6572 chipset and has 256MB RAM along with a 200MB internal storage which seems very less. The smartphone has a 4" screen with 480×320 pixels resolution (although it needs confirmation).
The Bolt A47 handset supports dual SIM with a 2MP camera on the rear with Flash support and also a VGA camera at front. It lacks 3G support and features 2G EDGE/GPRS connection, Bluetooth and Wifi. The worst part is that it also misses GPS receiver.
Micromax Bolt A47 is also powered by a 1600 mAh removable battery that gives a talk time of upto 6 hours only. However, with a price tag of only Rs. 4699 it will compete with other 1.3ghz dual core smartphones for sure.
