Indian company Micromax has started selling its regular budget smartphone – Model Canvas Engage (A091). The novelty of this phone is that it has a slim and lightweight design, available in black color and supports two SIM-cards simultaneously.
Micromax Canvas Engage is based on SoC-MediaTek MT6582 platform with 1.2 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor and an integrated graphics controller of PowerVR SGX544. The smartphone has a 4-inch capacitive IPS-display with WVGA-format (working resolution of 800 x 480 pixels), 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of flash memory (available only 1.61 GB), expandable to MicroSD cards (up to a maximum 32 GB), rear 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus, front facing 0.3-megapixel camera for video chat. Also, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 adapter, GPS-receiver, FM-radio, 3G modem, orientation sensor, MicroUSB port, 3.5-mm audio jack and a capacity of 1500 mAh removable battery. Maximum data speed transmission via HSDPA is 21 MB/s, and for the HSUPA it is 5.76 Mbit/s.
Micromax Canvas Engage A091 smartphone is running the operating system Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). Retail price of Micromax Canvas Engage (A091) is 6199 rupees, or about $106.
